Dear Juno,
I agree with the decision that you made, giving up the baby up for adoption. You thought about not just yours but also the baby’s well being. You weren’t being selfish, you genuinely cared and wanted nothing but the best for the baby. The baby deserves to be with a loving family who is able to provide for him/her. You gave a couple the miracle to have a baby of their own when they couldn’t have one themselves. Juno you completed their family, you brought them happiness. Giving him/her up for adoption was probably the hardest decision that you had to make but you managed to get through it and continue with the process. I’m glad you were able to be someone else’s blessing.

Roe v. Wade was issued 1973 and it changed so many women’s lives. It gave them the right to decide for themselves on what is the best for their bodies. They were able to get an abortion without having to hide it and being afraid to be caught. Before Roe v. Wade, many women had gotten unsanitary and unsafe abortions. Some would even go into a dark alley so no one would see them and get caught. Others would get abortions in their own home with metal coat hangers and because of the metal, the abortion would fail and lead to death. Many deaths occurred because women had no rights on deciding whether abortion was an option for them or not.

In my opinion, I believe that every women has the right to decide what they should do or not do with their bodies. They shouldn’t have anyone judge them, guilt them, or even force them to have or keep the baby. Reasons why women should have the say on whether or not they should get the abortion is because they will be the ones going into a physically and emotionally situation. Many of them could be too young, been raped, financially unstable, complication for the baby or mother and lastly some women simply do not want the baby. Why let an innocent child come into the world if the chances are that the baby will be neglected, not be taken care of, nor be loved? I agree that every baby should be welcomed into the world, they don’t deserve their lives to be taken away, but they also don’t deserve to be neglected by people who do not care nor love him/her.

On the other hand, there is also adoption for those who cannot even consider abortion. Adoption gives the baby a chance to be in a loving home where they will cared for and truly be wanted. There are so many couples that are willing to do anything to have a baby of their own. But because of health reasons, they aren’t able to. Women who give their baby up for adoption are someone’s miracle. They are giving people the chance to become parents and complete their families. It’s such an emotional ride for not just the mother but also for the adopting parents.
